    Goodenough et al proposed using lithium iron phosphate as cathode materials for lithium ion secondary batteries  Compare with the cathode material of traditional hierarchical structure and spinel structure, lithium iron phosphate cathode material with olivine structure. It has 3.6g / (cm) -3 density,theoretical capacity of 170mAh / g . In recent years, many researchers have done extensive studies on LiFePO 4 cathode material preparation and modification, and achieve many significant results . LiFePO 4 has many advantages, for example, which has a long cycle life, use of safety, big power density, low cost, high work voltage, and so on. It is widely used in various mobile communications equipment, instruments, hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) and pure electric vehicles (EV) .Battery management system is important in battery applications, and its working state will have a direct impact to the cycle life and the normal operation of the battery . Battery management system is mainly to detect the battery voltage, current and temperature, to control charge-discharge process of the battery, to estimate SOC of the battery . Currently,  charging method of LiFePO 4 battery is the constant current- constant voltage charging mode. Because LiFePO 4 cathode material and production process are different, different charge cut-off voltages are given by producers.  Experimental results show that the battery terminal voltage and the battery temperature will rise rapidly in the battery constant current charging late.
